TEDxNorristown 2019: Innovative Conversation where it’s needed the most

For the 3rd year in a row the Norristown Men of Excellence, hosted this event FREE to the public. This year’s TEDxNorristown, was hosted at Stewart Middle School, and featured community advocates, artists, and educators.

Guest speakers covered topics ranging from education and mentorship, finance and passive income, to culture and influence, survival, and advocacy.

Often we miss the opportunity for conversations that need to be had. Kudos to NMOE for continuing to bring this important platform to the community. Not only did the speakers on stage seek to engage the minds of the audience, but you could not miss the crucial dialogue spilling over into the hallways during intermission and even as the event wrapped up.

As long as there is work to be done, there are conversations to be had, and ideas to be shared.

“We’ve got to be able to say what needs to be said, do what needs to done, and SHOW UP, when the time comes, or else we won’t just be letting down ourselves but the next generations to come”
