Stay At Home order Extended and PA Schools Closed Indefinitely says Governor Wolf

Just Announced – Monday March 30th, Gov. Tom Wolf has extended the Stay-at-Home order in Pennsylvania for 26 counties, including Montgomery County through April 30 to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

Non-essential businesses and PA Schools are closed indefinitely, and will only reopen when it is deemed safe, said Governor Wolf.

“It’s hard to be confined to one place. But if we want to save lives we must continue to distance ourselves from others,” said Wolf

Four more counties were added to the list of 22 others counties that are under the order. Carbon, Cumberland, Dauphin and Schuylkill Counties are among the latest to be under the Stay-At-Home order.

PA now has 4,087 cases of the virus in 59 counties.

Almost 700 new cases were reported in Pennsylvania on Monday with the death toll from COVID-19 reaching 48.
