Norritown Native Cam Reddish declares for the 2019 NBA Draft

Norristown native and stand-out Duke University star Cam Reddish has announced he is leaving school for the NBA. The announcement was made Thursday.

Just a few days after the elimination of the top-seeded Duke Blue Devils’ from the NCAA Tournament, Reddish made the announcement through an Instagram post. @camreddish took to instagram with this:

“This season was epic, and I am so thankful to have had Duke as a part of the foundation that prepared me to play at the next level. Never forget โ€“ I am a Blue Devil for life. Proud to announce that I will be entering the 2019 NBA Draft. #TheBrotherhood #CamFam #TGBTG ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ”ต๐Ÿ˜ˆ”

Averaging 13.5 points and almost 30 minutes a game for the Blue Devils this season, the 218-pound 6 foot, 8 inch forward played as part of a powerhouse class of freshmen that advanced the team among the nation’s elite.

It’s no surprise that experts predict it likely that Reddish is selected within the first several picks of the 2019 NBA Draft.
