Tony and Grammy Award-winning actor, rapper and producer Daveed Diggs will guest star on #POPPAPANK! a weekly Facebook Live show hosted on Theatre Horizon’s Facebook page, Wednesday April 29th.
Daveed Diggs gained critical acclaim for originating the dual roles of Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in the original Broadway sensation cast of “HAMILTON”
Daveed will make a special live appearance on Theatre Horizon’s weekly live show #PoppaPank appearing with hosts Jaylene Clark Owens and Justin Jain on Theatre Horizon’s Facebook Live on Wednesday, April 29 starting at 9 p.m. EST.
The show is free and open to the public. it can be streamed at facebook.com/theatrehorizon.
#PoppaPank originally started in 2018 by award-winning performers Owens and Jain, and is a now broadcast as part of Theatre Horizon’s ‘Horizon at Home’ program.
The Facebook Live show features Philadelphia based artist Owens and Jain taking on everything, from their tips on surviving 2020 to recapping their new favorite Netflix show.

In addition to his award-winning performance as part of the original cast of the mega-popular musical Hamilton, Diggs also stars opposite Jennifer Connelly in TNT’s futuristic thriller series, “Snowpiercer.”
Future projects for Diggs includes starring opposite Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, and Stanley Tucci in Apple TV+’s new animated musical sitcom, “Central Park,” and lending his voice to Disney Pixar’s SOUL, where he stars opposite Tina Fey and Jamie Foxx.
And he will also reprise his award-winning roles of Thomas Jefferson and Marquis de Lafayette on the big screen in a movie that is set to hit theaters on October 15, 2021.
This is not Daveed’s first time on #PoppaPank but it is his official premiere on the Theatre Horizon platform.
Jaylene Clark Owens had the pleasure of working with Daveed last summer as part of the #Bars workshop at the Public Theater. Diggs has since graciously agreed to be on the #PoppaPank live for show for a second time.
