Valentine’s Day may be over for all of you lovers out there, but it is never too late or out of season, to treat yourself or the ones you love to a nice relaxing massage.
Selfcare is the wave, and a healing massage from the specialists at Narrow Path Massage Therapy is what’s Happening (iN)Town!
On a chill Saturday afternoon, at a local 19401 West-End favorite, Alfredo’s, we got the chance to get up close and personal with the founder of Narrow Path Massage Therapy.
C.E.O., Founder, Norristown Native, (and may we add, kind spirited), Kelli Robinson spoke with us about her journey as a massage therapist and business owner.
According to Kelli, LMT, her mission is to assist people through wellness, and inform her clients on the key ingredients to a healthy body.
“Massage is not just a luxury, but an investment to one’s wellness.” -Kelli Robinson
Practicing her craft for over a decade, there is nothing Kelli loves more than being able to witness and participate in the transformation of stiff and sometimes twisted bodies into drastically more relaxed and flexible forms.
Stress is often held in the body, resulting in muscle tension and stiffness. Kelli strongly emphasized that regular and frequent massage therapy is tool for relief in many cases. “Everything you do shows up in your body, whether it be positive or negative, a good massage is sure to rid you of stress and replace it with peace.”
To give her clients the best experience Robinson makes sure that she focuses intensely on the problem areas, while also massaging the entire body from head to toe… Not just back to feet!
Narrow Path is leading the way to wellness by bring the benefits of the spa to the comfort and privacy of your own home.
According to The Mayo Clinic: “studies have found massage [therapy] may also be helpful for:
- Digestive disorders
- Insomnia related to stress
- Myofascial pain syndrome
- Soft tissue strains or injuries
- Sports injuries
- Temporomandibular joint pain
And, “beyond the benefits for specific conditions or diseases, some people enjoy massage because it often produces feelings of caring, comfort and connection.”
“I want people to feel how I would want to feel in a massage. So, I put my all into it.” said Robinson
Kelli Robinson has a spiritual connection with her practice and she believes the road to wellness is indeed a Narrow Path, requiring both consistency and discipline.
