Norristown has always been know for Athletics.

ENGAA, known for giving the young ladies in the area the opportunity to participate in sports like Basketball, Field Hockey, and Softball.

Many of the young ladies who come into ENGAA learn at an early age the skills necessary to play on a middle school, high school and some at that go off to the collegiate level.

Let’s showcase a sport that’s not been on the Norristown’s sports radar….

This year, ENGAAs 14U Softball Team ended their Recreational Season UNDEFEATED, making history in the process and going on to WIN The District 22 Championship.

What makes ENGAA and important feature for our NORRISTOWN families who participate in this feeder program?

Many of the young ladies associated with the organization live in the [Norristown Area School] District and attend Norristown area schools. ENGAA is our only feeder program that has a distinct and direct connection with the district for our young ladies that play Softball, Field Hockey and Basketball.

Head Coach, Jacob Echiveria, for the District 22 Champions became the softball coach for the Norristown Area School District Combined Middle Schools Varsity Team this past 2018-2019 school year. The Combined Norristown Middle Schools Varsity team also had ground-breaking year. and Ending their season 6-1, a feat never done before. These young ladies are and continue to be apart of the ENGAA feeder programs.

These young ladies have exhibited growth and leadership within the schools they attended (East Norriton, ESTLA, and Stewart Middle School). They are exceptional students. They’ve been playing together for the since they can remember.

Forming an unbreakable bond and making it clear, opponents can no longer walk on to a Norristown field and expect to win.

ALL now know Softball is in the heart of these young ladies, and these young ladies represent a striving heartbeat of this community.
